Barton Hill Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze in Bastrop

Barton Hills Farms, 1115 FM 969, in Bastrop will host its annual pumpkin patch and corn maze from Sept. 25 through Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.

The farm offers sunflowers to pick along with pumpkins, the Hey Elon! Corn maze, live music, food, beer, apple cannons, archery and more.

Texas Pumpkin Fest

Get into the spirit of autumn and enjoy some family-friendly fun at Texas Pumpkin Fest.

The pumpkin patch in Leander will be available from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Friday, Sept. 25 and will continue through Thursday, Nov. 7. The festival is located at 10930 East Crystal Falls Parkway and will be open seven days-a-week.

Patrons will have the opportunity to explore more than 5 acres of pumpkins and gourds, play a variety of games, get lost in a hay maze, enjoy silly fun on the bounce slide and obstacle course, climb the top of the massive 65 ft. super slide and race to the bottom, enjoy the kiddie and tractor trains and a variety of other events and activities to enjoy.

Pumpkin Nights In Austin

Pumpkin Nights is coming to Austin this October. The Halloween-themed walking path will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at night every day in October at 10621 Pioneer Farms Drive in Austin.

The path will feature a 10-foot tall Jack-o-Lanterns, the world's largest pumpkin guitar, a flying 40-foot handmade dragon, a life-size pumpkin pirate ship and more fantastic surprises built by the event's artists using over 5,000 hand-carved real and synthetic pumpkins.

Carpenter Biergarten in Austin

The Carpenter Hotel in Austin will be offering a Texan-take on some classic German fun, to provide an ideal stop to and from Austin City Limits Music Festival.

The celebration will kickoff from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Oct. 1-3 and Oct. 8-10 at Carpenter Hotel, 400 Josephine Street, in downtown Austin. The event will offer pretzels, brats, beer and wine, and coffee from the cafe. Hot L Coffee will be available to purchase with Biergarten Bucks (purchasable on entrance to the Biergarten). 

Chalk Walk in Round Rock

Chalk Walk is Round Rock's version of an Italian street painting festival. Artists are free to create, with chalk pastels, a picture on the pavement.

The free event at Dell Diamond will take place Saturday, Oct. 2 and Sunday, Oct. 3. The event will feature numerous vendors, sponsors, and artists, including chalk artists, musicians vocal groups, theatrical performances, food and drinks and children's performances.

Bluegrass Festival in Leander

The 2021 Honda Leander Bluegrass Festival will mark its 16th year Saturday Oct. 2 and Sunday, Oct. 3 at the historical Mason Homestead, 1101 Bagdad Road, in Leander. The fall event will kick off from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. both nights and will feature live music, food trucks, Fun Zone, beer vendors and craft vendors.

Lone Oak Barn Fall Harvest in Round Rock

Lone Oak Barn is hosting their 2nd Annual Fall Harvest festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 2-3 at its location in Round Rock.

They plan to feature a pumpkin patch, live music, a petting zoo, food trucks and more.

Austin German-Texan Oktoberfest

The German-Texan Heritage Society will hold the annual festival on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 507 E. 10th Street in downtown Austin.

The festival will take place from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and will feature live music, food, a biergarten, kid's activities and more. This year, kids events will be held during the day at the German Free School, and evening events (for grown-ups) will be held at Mowhawk.

Floating Pumpkin Patch in Leander

The Floating Pumpkin Patch in Leander is an opportunity to celebrate the season with a one-of-a-kind event held at Bledsoe Pool.

The event will kick off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at 601 South Bagdad. Once you select your pumpkin, you'll be able to craft it into a work of art with paints, sequins, glitter and other fun embellishments.

Deutschen Pfest in Pflugerville 

Pflugerville's most popular pfestival, the Deutschen Pfest will celebrate its 45th year in Pfluger Park Friday, Oct. 15 through Sunday, Oct. 17.

This year's event includes vendors and live music, a Deutschen Pfest 5K and Hanz Health Pfair.

Hairy Man Halloween Trail of Fun in Round Rock

Wear your favorite Halloween costume and walk the trail at this year's Hairy Man Halloween Trail of Fun in Round Rock.

The event will kick off from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at Community Park Trail, 16318 Great Oaks Drive. Enjoy fun activities for all ages, pre-packaged treats, and giveaways. Team members will be stationed along the trail to help with physical distancing.

BARKtacular HOWLoween in Round Rock

Dress up your four-legged friend and bring the family out to the 2nd Annual BARKtacular HOWLoween Dog Festival at Round Rock Depot on Saturday, Oct. 23.

This event welcomes friendly, leashed dogs for trick or treating, costume contest, a lookalike contest, vendors and more. Entry fee includes swag items for all pup-ticipants and additional prizes for contest winners.

Diwali Festival in Round Rock

The city of Round Rock will kick off this year's Diwali Festival, known as the "celebration of light," on Saturday, Oct. 23 at Centennial Plaza, 301 W. Bagdad Avenue.

The event will feature beautiful street lights, savory food, music, cultural dance, beautiful Rangoli (Sand Art) and a fashion show.

Kids can learn various arts and crafts while others can partake in free Bollywood dance lessons. Vendors will display colorful arts and crafts, Indian clothing, jewelry and artists will offer Henna temporary tattoos.

Texas Book Festival in Austin

The Texas Book Festival will kick off this year with a mix of virtual and in-person events from Oct. 23 through Oct. 31.

The festival features hundreds of nationally and critically recognized adult and children's authors, exhibitors, activities, and countless opportunities to meet authors and fellow book lovers.

Viva la Vida Festival and Parade in Austin

Viva la Vida, which is hosted by Mexic-Arte Museum, will kickoff Saturday, Oct. 30 with a big parade through east Austin and downtown's Congress Avenue.

Austin Food & Wine Festival in Austin

Austin Food + Wine Festival's is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Nov. 5-7.

This year's event will feature cooking demos and food samples from renowned chefs and top-rated restaurants as well as sips from an array of wine, beer and spirits exhibitors. (21 and up only event)
