Austin Business Journal writes, "Liberty Hill’s Santa Rita Ranch just keeps growing.
The sprawling 3,700-acre development — where more than 4,000 homes have been sold — is already the region’s fastest-growing neighborhood. Now, 1,000 more homes are going to be added to the community, according to an announcement.
Perry Homes will build the new homes in an area called Eldorado Village. They'll rise on 50-, 60- and 70-foot lots, with 66 different floor plans available to buyers. Floor plans will range from 2,100 square feet to 4,891 square feet.
“We’re particularly excited about Eldorado Village because of its location in the community,” stated Santa Rita Ranch developer Ed Horne. “These homesites are situated on some of the highest points in Santa Rita Ranch and offer magnificent Hill Country views. I believe these are among the last lots in Williamson County with views of this magnitude.”
The new homes will be priced starting in the $550,000 range. Homes in Santa Rita Ranch as a whole range from $320,000 to $1.36 million.
More than 4,200 homes have been sold at Santa Rita Ranch since sales began in 2013, with 15 homebuilders active in the community since development started. Those homebuilders have included CastleRock, Chesmar, Coventry/Dream Finders, GFO Home, Highland, Perry, Pulte, Scott Felder, Sitterle, Taylor Morrison, Toll Brothers, Westin and others.
Liberty Hill is among the fastest-growing cities in the region, with a population that more than tripled from 2020 to 2024, climbing from roughly 3,600 people to just under 12,000 in that timeframe. Key to the growth has been an ever-increasing housing stock. In addition to Santa Rita Ranch, Liberty Hill is home to Lariat, a development that eventually will have 1,650 energy-efficient homes and ranks fifth in terms of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in the region."
