Cat Mountain Homes
Northwest Hills is an established community of stately homes conveniently located just north of Lake Austin between Mopac Loop 1 and Highway 360, and between Highway 183 and RM 2222. Starting in the 1950s and running well into the 1980s, Northwest Hills was developed on over 200 acres of land. Homes are largely single-story ranch style, with some two-story traditional and some mid-century moderns mixed in. Within ten minutes of the Arboretum and the Domain and only a few miles from Downtown, the Northwest Hills neighborhood is also near the numerous tech employers now calling North Austin and Williamson County home. Several parks surround the area, with the Bull Creek Greenbelt and Barrow Preserve on the west end.
